GTPL Hathway has announced several changes to its leadership team, including new appointments to the positions of Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer and Additional Director.

According to a GTPL Hathway, Ashwinkumar Patel has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer with effect from September 19. Patel is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has over 20 years of experience in secretarial and legal functions.

Piyush Pankaj, who currently serves as Business Head B2B (CATV & Broadband) and Chief Strategy Officer at GTPL Hathway, has been appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. His appointment will be effective from October 1, 2026.

Pankaj has over 28 years of experience and has been associated with GTPL Hathway for the past 10 years. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds an MBA in Finance and IT from ICFAI.

The company has also appointed Gurjeev Singh Kapoor as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non-Independent Director), effective October 1, 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval. Kapoor is a media industry veteran with over 30 years of experience and is currently the CEO of Hathway Cable and Datacom.

Before joining Hathway Cable and Datacom, Kapoor held senior roles at companies including ESPN, Discovery and Sony Pictures. He also served as Head of Distribution and International Business at Disney Star.

Meanwhile, Saurav Banerjee will retire as CFO on September 30, 2026, at the close of business hours. The board has also noted the resignation of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director Tavinderjit Singh Panesar, who stepped down with immediate effect due to personal reasons.
