JioStar Consumer Products has partnered with homegrown streetwear brand Bonkers Corner as the official Drip Partner for ‘Hustle Season 5’, ‘Apna Homeground’. The collaboration brings the hip-hop style and energy of the popular music reality show off the stage through an exclusive licensed streetwear collection inspired by the show.
The collection has been launched as part of the partnership between JioStar Consumer Products and Bonkers Corner, offering fans an opportunity to take the spirit of Indian hip-hop into their everyday wardrobes. According to a JioStar press release today, the Hustle x Bonkers collection has been designed around the show’s language, its culture and this season’s theme, ‘Apna Homeground’.
The collection features more than 40 styles, including oversized T-shirts, relaxed-fit bottoms and statement layers. Built around the baggy silhouettes and bold graphics associated with streetwear and hip-hop culture, the range is positioned as more than conventional show merchandise, allowing fans to express their connection with the Hustle community through fashion.
Speaking about the association, Mahesh Shetty, Head – Entertainment Sales, TV, JioStar, said that Hustle has given India’s hip-hop community a stage, voice and identity over the seasons, with style becoming an important part of that identity. He said Bonkers Corner was a natural partner because of its understanding of street culture and its connection with the show’s audience.
The partnership also brings together Bonkers Corner’s online and retail presence with JioHotstar’s ‘Shop the Look’ feature. This allows viewers to discover and purchase looks directly while watching Hustle, creating a screen-to-shelf experience where fans can move from seeing a look on the show to owning it.
Shubham Gupta, Founder, Bonkers Corner, said the brand has always been built around self-expression and that Hustle reflects the same mindset. He added that the collaboration allows the brand to take streetwear beyond fashion and into the culture, energy and conversations shaping young India.
The Hustle x Bonkers collection is available through the Bonkers Corner website and app, as well as across the brand’s 44 retail stores in India. Viewers can also purchase the collection through JioHotstar’s ‘Shop the Look’ feature while watching the show.
For Bonkers Corner, the association aligns with its positioning around street culture, individuality and self-expression, as well as its strong following among Gen Z and millennial consumers. These values also overlap with the audience that has made Hustle a prominent platform for desi hip-hop since its launch in 2019.
The ‘Hustle x Bonkers’ collection is now available across Bonkers Corner’s online and retail channels, along with JioHotstar’s ‘Shop the Look’ feature, extending the show’s hip-hop identity beyond the screen and into everyday fashion.
