Prime Video has announced the exclusive worldwide streaming of its latest Telugu crime-action drama ‘Ghaati’, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi.

The film will premiere on September 26 and be available to Prime members in India as well as in more than 240 countries and territories. Along with Telugu, viewers can also enjoy the film in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

According to a Prime Video press release, ‘Ghaati’ brings together a stellar cast, led by Anushka Shetty in a fierce new avatar as Sheelavathi, alongside Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, and Ravindra Vijay in significant roles. The story is further enriched by Sagar Nagavelli’s powerful background score, adding to the film’s intense mood and atmosphere.

The narrative unfolds against the rugged backdrop of the Eastern Ghats along the Andhra–Odisha border. It highlights the struggles of the ‘Ghaatis’, a marginalized tribal community trapped in the web of an illicit smuggling trade controlled by the ruthless Naidu brothers. Sheelavathi (Anushka Shetty) and Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu) emerge as voices of resistance, determined to break free from this vicious cycle of exploitation. Their fight for justice sets them against the violent syndicate led by Kundhul Naidu (Chaitanya Rao Madadi) and Kaastala Naidu (Ravindra Vijay).
