Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (PM Manmohan Singh) has been admitted to the Trauma Center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for being found infected with the novel coronavirus.
After testing Corona, he was found positive, after which he has been admitted to AIIMS. According to the news agency ANI, this information has been given by AIIMS.
On Sunday, Manmohan Singh had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the five suggestions for combating the second and more severe Covid-19 wave in India.
In a two-page letter to PM Modi, the veteran Congress leader said one must not look at absolute numbers, but the percentage of the population vaccinated.
The raging second wave of Covid-19 has led many states to impose strict curbs, including lockdowns and weekend and night curfews to cut the chain of transmission.
