Tata Digital is set to appoint Sajith Sivanandan as its new Chief Executive Officer, with the seasoned executive expected to assume charge in the coming weeks, according to a report in The Economic Times yesterday.
Currently serving as President of Jio Mobile Digital Services, Sivanandan will now lead the Tata Sons-owned digital and ecommerce subsidiary, which has been undergoing a phase of restructuring and realignment of priorities.
The Economic Times reported that his appointment comes after the exit of former CEO Naveen Tahilyani earlier this year and marks Tata Digital’s renewed push to sharpen its presence in the highly competitive digital commerce ecosystem.
