Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar dropped yesterday the announcement video for ‘Don 3‘. Reportedly, Ranveer Singh has replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the third part.
Farhan announced the third chapter on social media as he dropped a clip where ‘3’ with ‘A New Era Begins’ was written.
The cast has not been revealed yet, but it is reported that Ranveer will replace Khan. In the earlier installments, Shah Rukh played the titular role of Don.
Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani had bought the rights of the original Amitabh Bachchan-led 1978 film ‘Don’ and remade it with Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead roles. They released the first ‘Don’ in 2006 and came out with the second installment in 2011, which had SRK and Priyanka reprising their roles, IANS reported.
