Cricketer Rohit Sharma is making his television debut as a host with ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’.The new entertainment show will premiere today, September 19, at 9:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
According to a SET press release today, the premiere date has a special connection with Rohit’s cricket career. September 19 marks the anniversary of his T20I debut for India in 2007. Speaking about the milestone, Rohit said he hopes the show also continues for a long time, just like his long T20I career.
The show brings together popular names from cricket, Bollywood and television. The line-up includes Suniel Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sidharth Malhotra, Shikhar Dhawan, Shardul Thakur, Krushna Abhishek, Maniesh Paul, Ankita Lokhande, Shehnaaz Gill, Archana Puran Singh, Rakesh Bedi and Kunal Khemu, among others.
‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ follows a family entertainment format with games, conversations and unexpected moments. Celebrities and their families will come together for fun activities, with relationships and friendly competition being an important part of the show.
The show will also feature some special moments involving Rohit and the guests. The popular ‘Koi Sehri Babu’ dance will make a comeback, while Kunal Khemu will share an amusing observation about Rohit. Rohit will also reveal that the bat he used during his last ODI series was gifted to him by Shardul Thakur.
