ChanaJor OTT has expanded its content catalogue with the Hindi premiere of ‘EVOL: A Love Story in Reverse’, which is now streaming exclusively on the platform. Originally produced in Telugu and later dubbed in Hindi, the film marks its first-ever Hindi release and strengthens the platform’s growing presence in the romantic thriller segment.
Written and directed by Ram Yogi Velagapudi, the film features Jenifer Emmanuel, Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu and Surya Srinivas in lead roles. The narrative adopts an unconventional structure, presenting emotions and relationships in reverse order while exploring themes of love, marriage and consent through a layered storytelling approach.
The story revolves around Nidhi, portrayed by Jenifer Emmanuel, a woman caught between duty and desire. Though married to Rishi, she remains emotionally connected to Prabhu. Her life takes a dramatic turn when her husband makes a defining decision and gives her consent to follow her heart. This moment triggers a series of events that reshape personal relationships and explore the delicate balance between trust, sacrifice and individual choice.
Describing the film, director Ram Yogi Velagapudi said the project presents a love story told in reverse, exploring the darker and more complex dimensions of human emotions, loyalty and relationships. Through emotionally intense situations and moral dilemmas, the film challenges conventional perceptions of romance and examines the evolving dynamics of modern relationships.
Commenting on the Hindi release, Pratap Jain, CEO of ChanaJor OTT, said the film reflects the platform’s focus on presenting thought-provoking narratives that resonate with contemporary audiences. He noted that the film offers an honest portrayal of modern relationships and aligns with the platform’s strategy of delivering distinctive and engaging content.
Positioned as a romantic thriller rather than a traditional love story, ‘EVOL: A Love Story in Reverse’ represents ChanaJor OTT’s continued effort to offer diverse and conversation-driven storytelling for viewers seeking fresh narratives. The film is currently streaming exclusively on the platform.
