Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, the final chapter of the crime thriller franchise, has recorded a strong opening at the worldwide box office, earning Rs 93 crore on its first day, the makers said on Saturday.
The film, directed by Abhishek Pathak, released in theatres on Friday and has received largely positive reviews. According to the makers, the film’s opening day collection stood at Rs 93 crore worldwide.
The third and final instalment of the ‘Drishyam’ franchise sees Devgn return as Vijay Salgaonkar, the central character of the series. Once again, Vijay finds himself caught in a cat-and-mouse game with the law as the story unfolds around suspense, twists and attempts to protect his family.
The film has been drawing attention for its performances, suspense and plot twists, with the latest instalment bringing the franchise’s storyline to its concluding chapter.
