Disney Channel India lines up week-long birthday bash for Doraemon

Disney Channel India is turning September into a celebration for one of television’s most beloved animated characters — Doraemon. Starting September 1, the channel has rolled out a week-long birthday extravaganza leading up to the blue robot cat’s special day on September 3.

According to a Moneycontrol report, the celebrations have been designed to create an immersive experience for fans across screens. From marathons of Doraemon movies every evening between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm, to the entire channel donning Doraemon’s signature shade of blue, the birthday week aims to capture the spirit of the character who has been a household favourite for years.

Doraemon’s charm has always been in his futuristic gadgets, his endless patience with Nobita, and his ability to rescue the day in the most unexpected ways. Disney is now giving fans an opportunity to return that love, both on television and through its social media handles. On Instagram and other platforms, viewers can participate in interactive activities, enjoy influencer-led throwbacks, and even send personalised birthday wishes that may get featured on TV.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
