‘Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha’, starring Adivi Sesh, has crossed Rs 40 crore at the worldwide box office within its opening weekend, marking a strong start for the action drama.
According to a PTI report, the film opened to an impressive response globally, collecting Rs 15 crore on its first day. Since its release on April 10, the film has continued to gain momentum, taking its total worldwide gross beyond the Rs 40 crore mark in just a few days.
Directed by Shaneil Deo in his directorial debut, the film has been co-written by Deo and Adivi Sesh. The project brings together action and emotion, positioning itself as a story that blends romance with high-intensity drama.
Alongside Sesh, the film features Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap in key roles, adding depth and star power to the narrative. The casting, combined with its gripping storyline, appears to have contributed to the film’s early box office traction.
With a solid opening weekend performance and steady audience interest, ‘Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha’ is expected to continue its run at the box office in the coming days, as it builds on its initial success.
