After navigating the culinary chaos of ‘Laughter Chefs’, COLORS is now set to take audiences on a hilarious airborne adventure with its brand-new sitcom, ‘Zyada Mat Udd’.
Set in the quirky world of aviation, the show promises high-altitude madness, absurd situations, and a crew that turns every flight into a comedy of errors. The show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 11 pm.
At the heart of the story is Goldie Khurana (Shehzad Shaikh), the privileged heir to Air-Aasman Airlines, who assumes his inheritance is on autopilot—until turbulence strikes. Following the untimely death of his father, Goldie learns that his path to power isn’t guaranteed. In a shocking twist, the airline’s board mandates that he must earn his place by winning the Flight Attendant of the Year award. With no choice but to comply, Goldie goes undercover as Gopal, a rookie flight attendant, diving headfirst into the chaos of airline service.
Joining him in this unpredictable journey is Kajal Thakkar (Helly Shah), a confident air hostess who dreams of marrying rich to secure a luxurious life. She sees Air-Aasman as her stepping stone to fortune, unaware that her fellow steward, Gopal, is actually the airline’s heir. Meanwhile, Shilpa Srivastava (Aishwarya Sakhuja), the no-nonsense head stewardess, ensures that Gopal’s journey is anything but smooth.
Passengers should be less worried about mid-air calamities and more about the sheer incompetence of this flight crew, whose mishaps create a perfect storm of hilarity. Amidst this madness, will Goldie’s secret identity remain intact, or will his cover be blown?
The sitcom features an ensemble cast, including Gaurav Amlani as Anees Rizvi, a tough guy with a soft spot for Kajal; Bhawsheel Sahni as Chanpreet ‘Touchy’ Chatwal, the sensitive soul of the crew; Rewati Chhetri as Liza Wangsu, the self-proclaimed queen of morbid humour; Vishal Malhotra as Ranjeet Arora, the smooth-talking pilot with a mischievous side andVivek Mushran as Satish Khurana, Goldie’s flamboyant deceased father, appearing as a ghost to give him reality checks, amongst others.
The show will also feature celebrity guest appearances, including actor Kunal Karan Kapoor, veteran comedian Guddi Maruti, and versatile actress Neelu Kohli, all caught in the whirlwind of Air-Aasman’s in-flight madness.
