Get ready for an entertainment upgrade as COLORS Rishtey brings a fresh dose of drama, mythology, and family entertainment to your screens with its brand-new prime time lineup. Starting May 15, the revamped schedule will feature two of Indian television’s most celebrated shows—’Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ and ‘Naagin – Naash ka Vinaash’—making their way to millions of homes via DD Free Dish.
This launch follows the channel’s blockbuster re-entry into the Free-To-Air (FTA) space, which has already won over viewers with its rich storytelling and diverse content. Now, COLORS Rishtey is doubling down on that promise with high-stakes drama, timeless mythological tales, and edge-of-the-seat supernatural thrillers, all during the most-watched time slots.
For the very first time, DD Free Dish viewers will get to experience ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ at 7 pm, featuring Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput in the divine roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. The show dives deep into the spiritual and emotional journey of two cosmic forces, blending grand visuals with values that resonate across generations.
In a statement, Ram Yashvardhan said, “This show is the divine love story of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti, a timeless saga etched in our culture. What makes it even more meaningful is that it’s perfect for family viewing—from powerful visuals to deep-rooted emotions, and so many learnings, there’s something in it for everyone—from kids to grandparents.”
At 9 pm, the prime time action continues with the supernatural juggernaut Naagin – Naash ka Vinaash, starring Tejasswi Prakash, Mahek Chahal, Simba Nagpal, and the legendary Sudha Chandran, who brings double the impact with her dual roles of Seema and Tara.
Chandran shared her excitement, stating, “Naagin 6 gave me something I had always dreamed of—a double role. Playing both Seema and her mother Tara has been creatively fulfilling. I’m thrilled that millions of more viewers will now get to experience this journey on COLORS Rishtey through DD Free Dish.”
Beyond these two flagships, COLORS Rishtey is curating a full-spectrum entertainment experience that caters to every member of the family. From the nostalgia-filled ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ to the hilarious madness of ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, and kid-favourites like ‘Munki and Trunk’, ‘Keymon Ache’, and ‘Shiva’, the channel is setting the stage for non-stop viewing pleasure.
