COLORS is all set to premiere its latest drama ‘Binddii’ on September 17, a heart-wrenching tale of a daughter’s unbreakable bond with her mother and her fight for justice.
The show, airing daily at 8.30 pm on COLORS and JioHotstar, follows the journey of a young girl raised behind prison walls, who is suddenly thrust into a hostile world after being separated from her mother.
Set against the backdrop of Mathura, ‘Binddii’ tells the story of Kajal (played by Radhika Muthukumar), an innocent woman imprisoned for a crime she never committed, and her daughter Binddii (Sanchi Bhoyar), who grows up inside jail. As Binddii ventures into the outside world, she learns shocking truths about her father Aviraj (Krushal Ahuja) and his alliance with the ruthless mafia don Dayanand Chaudhury (Manav Gohil). Determined to free her mother one day, Binddii embarks on a mission of resilience, love, and courage.
Speaking about her role, Radhika Muthukumar said Kajal’s story “broke her from within,” describing it as a reminder that “even in the darkest corners, a mother’s love is the fiercest force of survival and hope.” For debutante Sanchi Bhoyar, playing Binddii is both an “honour and a challenge,” as she portrays the innocence and inner strength of a girl who dares to dream beyond chains.
Krushal Ahuja, who takes on a negative role for the first time, said portraying Aviraj was “thrilling and demanding,” while Manav Gohil described Dayanand as “an outright evil man” who thrives on corruption and control.
With a mix of intense emotions, family drama, and a gripping battle against injustice, ‘Binddii’ promises to bring viewers a powerful story of love and resilience that will keep them hooked every evening.
