CNBC-TV18 brought together some of India’s leading business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and industry experts at the CNBC-TV18 Titans Summit held at the Jio World Convention Centre on May 12, 2026.
The summit, presented by WeWork India and co-presented by PhonePe, focused on the theme ‘From Resilience to Reinvention: India’s Enterprise Story’, highlighting how Indian businesses are adapting to rapid technological change, shifting consumer behaviour and evolving workplace models.
According to a CNBC-TV18 press release, the summit explored how enterprises across sectors are preparing for long-term growth while navigating changing market realities. Discussions throughout the event revolved around entrepreneurship, capital, AI-led innovation, consumer markets, hybrid infrastructure, specialized talent and the future of enterprise in India’s fast-changing business ecosystem.
Opening the summit, CNBC-TV18 Managing Editor Shereen Bhan spoke about India’s rising importance as a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation and capital creation. She highlighted how technology adoption, policy support and investor confidence are contributing to the country’s growing business momentum. Karan Virwani, Managing Director and CEO of WeWork India, in his opening address, reflected on India’s transformation into a market capable of building globally competitive businesses supported by strong talent, infrastructure and entrepreneurial ambition.
One of the key sessions, titled ‘The Next Phase of India’s Investment Cycle’, featured industry leaders including Rishabh Mariwala, Manish Kejriwal, Gopal Jain and Krishna Ramachandran. The discussion focused on disciplined investing, operational resilience and the increasing role of artificial intelligence in shaping future businesses. Speaking during the session, Kedaara Capital Founder and Managing Partner Manish Kejriwal stressed the importance of strategic value creation and operational excellence in a rapidly evolving market environment.
The summit also explored the rise of experience-led businesses through a session featuring The Leela Palaces CEO and Whole-Time Director Anuraag Bhatnagar, IHCL Managing Director and CEO Puneet Chatwal and District by Zomato CEO Rahul Ganjoo. The panel discussed how hospitality, travel and lifestyle brands are moving beyond transactional models to create immersive and emotionally engaging experiences for consumers. Conversations centred around premiumisation, personalisation and building long-term customer loyalty.
Another important discussion focused on hybrid workspaces and the future of commercial real estate. The session featured Karan Virwani, Knight Frank India’s Gulam Zia and Hiranandani Group Co-Founder and Managing Director Niranjan Hiranandani. Industry leaders discussed how flexible workspaces and hybrid work culture are reshaping India’s real estate sector. Virwani noted that flexible workspace ecosystems are increasingly becoming centres for collaboration and scalable business growth, while Hiranandani pointed to the growing share of flexible office spaces in the country’s commercial real estate market.
The summit concluded with discussions around emerging business opportunities, innovation-led growth and the importance of building future-ready enterprises. Speakers across sessions underlined the role of technology, entrepreneurship and strong business ecosystems in positioning India as a globally competitive economy in the coming years.
