Chatterbox Technologies Limited (Chtrbox), India’s first publicly listed creator economy company, has announced its international expansion with the Middle East emerging as its first global operational market. Dubai has been chosen as the company’s inaugural global hub, a move aimed at strengthening collaboration between creators, brands, and digital platforms across regions.
As per a press release issued by the company, the expansion marks a significant milestone in Chtrbox’s long-term strategy to build a connected creator economy infrastructure spanning India, the Middle East, and other international markets. The company said the move reflects its execution-led approach towards creating sustainable, cross-border ecosystems that enable creators and brands to scale beyond domestic boundaries.
The Middle East foray will be led by Raj Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Chtrbox, who previously served as Country Head of TikTok India. During his time at TikTok, Mishra played a key role in building the platform’s India operations from the ground up and scaling its creator ecosystem nationwide. At Chtrbox, he will drive regional growth initiatives, including expanding the creator network, forging partnerships with brands and platforms, and exploring strategic investments and potential M&A opportunities in the region.
Commenting on the expansion, Mishra said the creator economy is increasingly becoming borderless, with strong opportunities emerging from linking high-growth markets such as India and the Middle East. He noted that Dubai offers the infrastructure and access required to build long-term ecosystem partnerships, enable talent exchange, and support capital deployment, beyond just short-term brand campaigns.
Curt Marvis, CEO and Co-Founder of QYOU Media Inc., said Chtrbox’s Middle East expansion represents an important step in building a truly global creator economy platform. He highlighted Mishra’s track record in scaling digital ecosystems and described Dubai as a strategic gateway to one of the world’s fastest-growing creator markets, positioning the company to create value across multiple geographies.
With Dubai as its regional hub, Chtrbox plans to enable deeper collaboration between Indian and Middle Eastern creators, support brands operating across multiple markets, and actively contribute to the region’s rapidly evolving digital content and influencer marketing landscape. The company added that, as a publicly listed entity, it remains focused on disciplined growth, strong governance, and long-term value creation as it continues to expand its footprint beyond India.
