The 26th edition of Business Today Golf, one of India’s most prominent corporate golfing platforms, concluded with a grand finale tee-off in Mumbai on March 6, bringing together leading business figures, champions and distinguished guests for an evening that celebrated competition, camaraderie and leadership on the fairway. Among those present on the occasion was Praveen Singh Pardeshi, Chief Economic Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
According to a press release, Business Today Golf has for more than 25 years remained one of the country’s most respected corporate golf tournaments, offering a distinctive platform where decision-makers from the corporate world step out of the boardroom and onto the greens. Over the years, the event has evolved into a unique space where leaders compete, connect and exchange ideas in an atmosphere defined by precision, discipline and sportsmanship.
The 2025–26 season of Business Today Golf, presented by AU Small Finance Bank, began in Hyderabad on November 29, 2025. The season launch was graced by former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin as the Chief Guest, setting the tone for an exciting edition of the tournament. From there, the championship travelled across seven major business centres, reaffirming its stature as a national platform that combines competitive sport with high-level business networking.
Over the following months, the tournament brought together members of the corporate community in cities such as Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai and Gurugram before culminating in the Mumbai finale. Participants had the opportunity to compete on some of India’s most prestigious golf courses while strengthening professional relationships beyond the confines of the workplace.
Now in its 26th year, Business Today Golf continues to promote leadership and sportsmanship among India’s top executives and entrepreneurs. Conceived as more than just a sporting contest, the tournament has grown into a long-standing tradition where industry leaders, innovators and achievers gather to test their skill, exchange perspectives and build lasting partnerships in a setting that balances competition with collaboration.
The tournament’s fairways have also been graced by some of the most celebrated sporting personalities over the years, adding prestige to the platform. Legends such as Kapil Dev, Suresh Raina, Ajit Agarkar, Shiv Kapur, Gaurav Bajaj and Madan Lal have been part of different editions, embodying the shared values of sport and leadership such as focus, resilience and strategic thinking.
As the curtain came down on its milestone 26th edition, Business Today Golf once again reinforced its reputation as a premier convergence of business and sport. With spirited competition and meaningful networking on and off the course, the Mumbai finale marked the successful culmination of another memorable season of India’s most distinguished corporate golfing tradition.
