The trailer for the much-anticipated Bengali film ‘Bohurupi’ dropped on Tuesday, sparking excitement with its intense storyline centered around a meticulously planned bank heist executed in just four minutes.
The action-packed trailer introduces viewers to a gripping cat-and-mouse chase between a gang of criminals and a resolute police officer.
The trailer opens with a heated exchange between a determined cop and a notorious dacoit. The narrative quickly shifts focus to a series of daring bank robberies orchestrated by three criminals in the heart of West Bengal. The audience is introduced to the fictional village of Chhyanchrapur, a hub of crime where even the best pickpocket, Jhimli, lives, IANS reported.
The film boasts a star-studded cast with Abir Chatterjee playing Sumanta Ghoshal, a police officer determined to bring the criminals to justice. Joining him in pivotal roles are Ritabhari Chakraborty, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and Koushani Mukherjee.
The show is directed by the duo of Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee and the film is set to release in theatres on October 8.
