Blackpink member Lisa, credited as Lalisa Manobal, has joined the cast of the highly anticipated ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3.
The hit HBO series is set to begin production in Thailand this February, featuring a new ensemble cast and a plot shrouded in secrecy, PTI reported.
Lisa’s role in ‘The White Lotus’ marks her acting debut, following fellow Blackpink member Jennie’s debut in the HBO drama ‘The Idol.’ Lisa’s inclusion adds to the star-studded ensemble, which includes Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and many more.
As a member of Blackpink (a Korean pop band), Lisa has achieved global success, collaborating with artists like Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Cardi B, and Selena Gomez. Known for breaking individual records, Lisa recently established her own management company, Lloud Co.
‘The White Lotus’, created by Mike White, has been a critical and commercial success for HBO, with the first and second seasons earning numerous Emmy nominations and wins. The third season will once again take viewers to an exotic location, this time in Thailand.
HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the upcoming season. The anticipation is high for Lisa’s acting debut and the continuation of the acclaimed series.
