Salman Khan is back as the host of Bigg Boss 18, set to premiere on October 6 at 9:00 pm on Colors TV and JioCinema. The excitement for this season is building, especially following the release of a captivating new promo that elaborates on this year’s theme, ‘Time Ka Tandav’ (the havoc of time).
In the promo, Salman is seen standing atop a ticking clock, dressed in a dark blue shirt and black suit. He reveals that the iconic Bigg Boss logo eye, which has traditionally observed only the present, will now guide viewers through the past and future as well. The journey unfolds with a time machine-like sequence, featuring motifs such as hourglasses, masks, and cameras, PTI reported from Mumbai.
Concluding the promo, Salman looks directly into the camera, emphasizing the theme with a powerful reiteration, “Time ka Tandav.” The Instagram caption for the promo shared by Colors TV promises a thrilling season, “Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein Time Ka Taandav chaayega!” (An earthquake will strike the house this time, because the havoc of time will dominate Bigg Boss) accompanied by hourglass and eye emojis.
Salman returns to the helm after missing ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’, which was hosted by his No Entry co-star Anil Kapoor and won by Sana Makbul. Last year, Salman hosted ‘Bigg Boss 17’, where stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner. Since his debut as host in ‘Bigg Boss 4’ in 2010, Salman has become synonymous with the popular reality show, an adaptation of the American series ‘Big Brother’.
