India’s leading radio network BIG FM hosted the fourth edition of the BIG Impact Awards Mumbai, celebrating the city’s most influential entrepreneurs, business leaders and changemakers.
The event was attended by Chief Guests Ashish Shelar, Minister of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, and Ritu Rajesh Tawde, Mayor of Mumbai, who felicitated winners with the BIG Impact Trophy.
The awards were designed to recognise progressive achievements while celebrating impactful contributions to the city’s development. Curated by BIG FM, the platform honoured leaders who have built successful enterprises while contributing meaningfully to community development. The awards spanned diverse sectors including auto, real estate, hospitality, health and wellness, education, fashion and lifestyle, highlighting stories of innovation, resilience and excellence.
The evening also witnessed the presence of several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry, including Boman Irani, Esha Deol, Chitrangada Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, Karan Tacker, Medha Rana, Ashnoor Kaur and Rithvik Dhanjani, among others, adding glamour to the ceremony. The show was hosted by BIG FM radio jockeys RJ Dilip, RJ Vrajesh, RJ Rani and RJ Sahil.
Marking the occasion, BIG FM also launched Season 5 of its flagship intellectual property Main Bhi Finance Minister. The launch featured a panel discussion on financial empowerment and wealth creation with industry experts including Nidarshana Gowani, Anupama Agrawal, Vanita Keswani, Soumini Sridhara and Heli Daruwala.
Speaking at the event, Ashit Kukian, CEO of BIG FM, said the awards celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship and meaningful impact that drives cities like Mumbai. He noted that the platform recognises businesses and changemakers who push boundaries, create opportunities and contribute to urban growth, adding that the network plans to expand the initiative to more cities in the coming year.
Among celebrity winners, Chitrangada Singh received the BIG Impact Creator Award for Excellence in Cinema, while Boman Irani was honoured as Best Director for an OTT original film. Shehnaaz Gill was recognised as the Most Stylish and Outstanding Performer, and Karan Tacker was named OTT Power Performer. Other honours included awards for emerging and breakthrough performers, visionary directors and youth icons.
Industry awards acknowledged organisations and professionals across healthcare, real estate, hospitality, sustainability, retail and finance for their contribution to innovation and community development. Companies such as BSE India were recognised for investor awareness initiatives, while several healthcare professionals and businesses were honoured for advancements in medical innovation, maternal health and wellness.
The event was co-powered by LIC Housing Finance and Mahindra & Mahindra, along with other sponsors. With the Mumbai edition setting the tone for the year, BIG FM announced plans to take the awards to international markets, beginning with Malaysia, and to major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati and Kolhapur in the coming months.
The BIG Impact Awards aim to further strengthen BIG FM’s commitment to recognising impact-driven entrepreneurship and celebrating leaders shaping India’s business and cultural landscape.
