The trailer of the upcoming Marathi original series ‘Be Dune Teen’ has been unveiled by its makers, offering viewers a warm, emotional and often humorous glimpse into the lives of a young couple caught between love, responsibility and the unpredictability of parenthood.
Starring Kshitish Date, Pushkaraj Chirputkar and Shivani Rangole in lead roles, the series explores how relationships evolve when life takes an unexpected turn.
According to an IANS report, the narrative revolves around Abhay and Neha, a couple preparing to welcome a child—only to discover they are expecting triplets. The newly released promo highlights both the joy and the overwhelming chaos that follow, tracing their journey as they learn, stumble, grow and redefine what partnership truly means.
Hema V.R., Business Head of Marathi ZEE5, said the series mirrors the emotional rhythm of Maharashtrian households. “At Marathi ZEE5, we take pride in creating stories that reflect the emotional heartbeat of Maharashtrian households, stories that make people laugh, think, and feel deeply. Be Dune Teen is a beautiful extension of that vision. It’s a story that mirrors real-life relationships, where joy and chaos coexist, and where love deepens even in the most unexpected situations,” she said.
Director duo Atharva Soundankar and Himanshu Pile shared that the series aims to balance intimacy with a cinematic narrative. They noted that the show uses multiple timelines to delve into the layers of Abhay and Neha’s bond — capturing the arguments, mistakes, humour and reconciliation that shape their journey.
Kshitish Date, who plays Abhay, described the role as one that allowed him to explore a wide emotional spectrum. He said Abhay’s struggle — of becoming a father to not one but three babies — naturally brings chaos but also reveals a deep vulnerability.
‘Be Dune Teen’ will begin streaming on Marathi ZEE5 from December 5.
