ABP Majha, Maharashtra’s leading Marathi news channel, has announced the return of its beloved program, Bappa Majha 2024, beginning on September 7, 2024. The flagship coverage will bring the vibrant festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi into homes across the state, capturing the essence of one of Maharashtra’s most cherished festivals.

This year, Bappa Majha is themed ‘Pahuya Utsava Anandacha’ (Let’s Watch the Festival of Happiness), reflecting the joy, unity, and community spirit that define Ganesh Utsav. Morning & Evening Aarti: Live broadcasts of sacred Aartis from renowned Ganpati temples across Maharashtra will allow viewers to begin and end their days with devotional hymns, offering a spiritual connection to the festival.

Ganesh Pujan: A 30-minute special segment will feature the Ganesh Pooja Sthapana and Aarti from ABP Majha’s Mumbai office, providing a glimpse into the channel’s own celebration.

Bappa Majha Bulletin: A special bulletin over the course of 10 days will traverse Maharashtra, capturing the diverse and vibrant celebrations in various towns and cities, showcasing intricate pandal decorations, community festivities, and united devotion.

Kaladhipati: A special segment featuring Maharashtra’s beloved celebrities as they visit and showcase iconic Ganesh pandals in their neighbourhoods.

Anant Chaturdashi Special Coverage: A full day of coverage on the final day of the festival, featuring the emotional and grand farewell processions of Lord Ganesha, capturing the processions and rituals across Maharashtra.

ABP Majha has also launched the ‘Maha Ganesh Mandal Contest,’ celebrating the creativity behind Ganesh Pandal decorations. The contest invites entries from Ganesh Mandals across different regions of Maharashtra, with the top three entries from each region being recognised for creativity, visual appeal, and social messages.
