Abhishek Kumar has resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Balaji Telefilms, the company announced in a statement to the BSE.
Kumar resigned for personal reasons, with effect from the end of business hours on June 15, 2023, according to the company.
Kumar joined the company in July 2022 and was in charge of decision-making, operations management, business process improvement, data-driven decision-making, corporate strategy, and other responsibilities.
Prior to joining Balaji, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Jupiter Capital.
As a Board Member, he was also involved with Niraamaya Retreats.
Kumar has worked for NDTV, Network 1 Media, Sahara Samay, IBN 7, CNN IBN Channel, Palaash Ventures, Snapdeal, Asianet News Media and Entertainment, and other organisations throughout his 22-year career.
