Balaji Telefilms, the film, television, and web content production house led by Ekta Kapoor, has announced the appointment of Vivek Koka as the Chief Business Officer (CBO) for its films division.
In addition to his current role as CBO of ALTBalaji (Altt), Vivek will now take on the responsibility of leading the films business at Balaji Telefilms, according to an update on Vivek’s LinkedIn account.
Koka brings with him a wealth of experience, having successfully managed Altt in his previous role.
His career spans over 20 years, with notable leadership positions at Shemaroo Entertainment, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and Tata Play. With a strong background in kick-starting and growing businesses, Koka is poised to drive the key business portfolio at Balaji Telefilms.
With this strategic appointment, Balaji Telefilms aims to leverage Koka’s expertise to drive growth and innovation in its films division, contributing to the dynamic landscape of the Indian media and entertainment industry.
