The hit series ‘Gutar Gu’ is back with its much-anticipated second season, delving deeper into the lives of high school sweethearts Anuj and Ritu, portrayed by Vishesh Bansal and Ashlesha Thakur.
The new season explores the bittersweet challenges of a long-distance relationship, spanning the cities of Bhopal and Ahmedabad, as the characters try to bridge the emotional and physical gap while building their careers, IANS reported.
Vishesh Bansal, excited to reprise his role, expressed how this season brings new experiences for Anuj. He shared, “Working with Ashlesha Thakur has made the challenges easier to navigate. This season beautifully captures the romance and innocence of young love, battling distance and life’s demands.”
Ashlesha Thakur, stepping back into the role of Ritu, emphasized the emotional depth of the new season, saying, “It’s raw, emotional, and very real. Many people will connect with the joy and heartache as Anuj and Ritu try to stay together despite the miles.”
Directed by Saqib Pandor and produced by Guneet Monga Kapoor’s Sikhya Entertainment, the second season promises to offer a heartfelt narrative that explores the evolution of young love. Pandor explained, “The first season captured the innocence of first love, but now we explore the complexities as their relationship faces the test of distance.”
