Zee Entertainment Enterprises has appointed Ashish Mishra as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He will be based at Zee’s Mumbai headquarters and report to CEO Punit Goenka.
According to a LinkedIn post by Ashish Mishra , Mishra will lead Zee’s marketing and brand agenda, focusing on consumer engagement, marketing initiatives and strategic projects across the company.
Before joining Zee, Mishra served as Chief Marketing Officer at ACKO, where he led marketing, brand building, customer acquisition and growth initiatives. He brings more than two decades of experience in marketing, brand strategy and business growth.
Earlier, Mishra spent nearly 14 years at HSBC, where he held marketing and leadership roles across India, Dubai and London. He began his career at Lowe Lintas and DDB. He holds a postgraduate degree from MICA, Ahmedabad, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering.
Following Mishra’s appointment, Kartik Mahadev will move to a new role within Zee. Zee CEO Punit Goenka welcomed Mishra to the company and said his experience will help strengthen Zee’s marketing capabilities and consumer connect.
Mishra said he looks forward to using his experience to strengthen Zee’s brand and content strategy and deepen consumer engagement.
