News18 India has announced that anchor Arpita Arya will lead a new phase of its flagship debate programme, ‘News18 India Goonj’, as part of the channel’s efforts to further strengthen its news and current affairs programming.
The show will air on weekdays at 4.50 pm beginning June 18 and will continue to focus on the day’s most significant national developments through debates, analysis and in-depth discussions.
According to the channel, the refreshed format will place a stronger emphasis on data-driven journalism, factual reporting and visual explainers supported by graphics, aimed at providing viewers with greater context and clarity on key issues. The programme will also feature debates involving prominent voices from various sectors to encourage informed discussion on matters of national importance.
