Apple TV+ now on Prime Video as add-on subscription in India

Prime Video has officially launched Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription in India, allowing Prime members to access the premium streaming service for Rs.99 per month.

According to a press release, this move expands marketplace of add-on channels, giving subscribers seamless access to Apple Originals within the Prime Video app.

With this integration, Indian users can now enjoy award-winning Apple TV+ content, including popular shows like ‘Ted Lasso’, ‘Severance’, ‘The Morning Show’, ‘Slow Horses’, and ‘Disclaimer’, alongside blockbuster films such as ‘Wolfs and The Gorge’.

Apple TV+ joins Prime Video’s extensive collection of add-on services, which already includes Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, BBC Player, Crunchyroll, Hoichoi, and Sony Pictures – Stream, among others.

The launch in India follows the global rollout of Apple TV+ on Prime Video, which is already available in countries like the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. This collaboration aims to provide a unified entertainment experience for Indian audiences, allowing them to access a diverse range of streaming platforms under one roof.

Speaking about the launch, Kelly Day, Vice President of International, Prime Video, stated,“We’re delighted to continue to roll out Apple TV+ on Prime Video with the launch in India today, bringing Prime Video customers an even greater selection of TV shows and films, all in one app experience.”
