The wait is nearly over for cinephiles as Amazon MGM Studios India and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap gear up to drop the much-awaited trailer of ‘Nishaanchi’ on Tuesday, September 3. After a teaser that set the tone and music that has already struck a chord with listeners, the excitement around the film has reached fever pitch.
According to a press release, the trailer is expected to deliver a high-voltage glimpse into a story packed with action, drama, and emotions—elements that Kashyap is known to deliver with a distinctive style. The film marks the big-screen debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, who will be seen in a double role, a move that has already generated curiosity among audiences.
‘Nishaanchi’ traces the journey of two brothers walking very different paths, with their choices shaping their fates in unexpected ways. The rustic heartland setting, combined with high-energy storytelling, is expected to serve up a quintessential masala entertainer. The cast also features Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra, whose performances are expected to lend depth to the raw and earthy narrative.
The film is produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. Written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap, ‘Nishaanchi’ is directed by Kashyap himself, who is widely regarded for pushing the envelope in Indian cinema with his bold and unflinching approach to storytelling.
Slated to hit theatres on September 19, ‘Nishaanchi’ promises a cinematic experience designed for whistles, cheers, and pure filmy celebration.
