The All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF), the apex body representing digital cable television operators across the country, has ushered in a new leadership team.

In its latest announcement, AIDCF confirmed the appointment of Anirudhsinh Jadeja, Managing Director of GTPL Hathway Limited, as its new President. Jadeja succeeds S.N. Sharma, CEO of DEN Networks Limited, who completed his tenure at the helm of the Federation.

According to a press release issued by AIDCF, the elections also saw Sankaranarayana, Vice Chairman of Asianet Satellite Communications Limited, being elected as the Vice President, while Sanjay Goyal, Group CFO of Fastway Transmissions Private Limited, has taken over as Treasurer.

Reflecting on his tenure, outgoing President S.N. Sharma remarked, “It has been a privilege to serve as the President of AIDCF during a pivotal phase for the digital cable TV industry. I am proud of the collective strides we’ve made in representing and voicing the sector’s concerns with clarity and conviction. As I hand over the baton, I have full confidence that Mr. Jadeja will lead the Federation with vision and determination. I wish him and the entire AIDCF team continued success.”

Accepting his new role, Anirudhsinh Jadeja expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the AIDCF members. “I am deeply honoured by the trust reposed in me by the AIDCF members. As President, I look forward to working closely with all stakeholders to uphold the Federation’s legacy, enhance industry collaboration, and proactively engage with policymakers to build a stronger, more inclusive future for the digital cable TV sector,” he said.

Manoj Chhangani, Secretary General of AIDCF, also acknowledged the leadership transition, saying, “On behalf of AIDCF, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to S.N. Sharma, CEO of DEN Networks Limited, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment during his tenure as President. We also welcome the newly elected leadership team — Anirudhsinh Jadeja as President, Mr. Sankaranarayana as Vice President, and Sanjay Goyal as Treasurer. Anirudhsinh Jadeja is a first-generation entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the cable and broadcasting sector. As the Managing Director of GTPL Hathway Ltd., he has been instrumental in building India’s largest MSO and is widely respected for his sectoral knowledge, entrepreneurial acumen, and leadership skills.

Sankaranarayana brings over three decades of professional experience to his role. He has led Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd. since 2006, having previously held key positions at ITW Signode, HMT Limited, and Hathway Investments. With a background in mechanical engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, an M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, and an MBA from IIM Bangalore, his deep technical and strategic expertise has helped position Asianet as a leader in the broadband and cable space.

Sanjay Goyal, with over 26 years of experience across industries including media, telecom, and retail, is known for driving financial strategies and operational excellence. His previous roles at Reliance Jio, Siti Networks, Vishal Retail, and others have made him a seasoned leader in finance and business transformation. He has also served as a member of various industry tax advisory committees and has played a significant role in investor relations and strategic finance management.

With this new leadership in place, AIDCF is set to continue its mission of advocating for the interests of digital cable operators, driving innovation, and ensuring equitable growth within India’s ever-evolving broadcasting landscape.
