Amit Gaur has joined Zee Live as Vice President, where he will lead the strategic development and operational expansion of the company’s portfolio across live experiences and intellectual properties (IPs). His role will focus on scaling live entertainment formats, strengthening partnerships and driving execution across Zee Live’s growing ecosystem.
As per a LinkedIn post update, Gaur will also oversee growth initiatives, streamline business operations and contribute to building new formats that cater to evolving audience preferences in the live entertainment space.
With over two decades of experience across media, entertainment and live events, Gaur brings a strong background in IP development, brand strategy and audience engagement. Before joining Zee Live, he was working as a Business and IP Strategy Leader at AGC, where he advised on portfolio strategy, go-to-market planning, commercial modelling and partnerships for large-scale entertainment properties and festivals.
Over the years, he has held key roles across leading organisations. At EVA Live, he led live entertainment and experiential divisions, while at TikTok, he headed business marketing communications across India, APAC and MEA regions. He also worked with Wizcraft International Entertainment, managing large-format events including the IPL Opening Ceremony, IIFA Awards, Global Citizen Festival India and the Senior National Badminton Championship.
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Gaur said he is stepping in at a time when live entertainment and audience experiences are evolving rapidly, and expressed enthusiasm about contributing to this dynamic space.
His appointment comes as Zee Live continues to expand its footprint in live events and IP-led entertainment, positioning itself to tap into growing demand for immersive and large-scale audience experiences in India.
