The American tech company ‘Amazon’ has launched a new video streaming service, called miniTV in India which is a free ad-supported video service.
The service provides users “professionally” created and curated content across web series, comedy shows, tech news, food, beauty, fashion, and more.
Amazon miniTV will be available within the Amazon app on Android. The iOS and mobile web versions will be released in the coming months.
The Amazon miniTV is already available on the Amazon Android app. It’s visible after a few scrolls down in the app.
Once the user taps on the miniTV screen they will be redirected to a new section that is filled with different kinds of shows.
Amazon miniTV has a proper app interface with a home screen, and tabs for comedy, lifestyle, and web series. It also has parental controls for restricted and unrestricted videos.
Amazon miniTV has partnered with studios such as TVF, Pocket Aces, and comedians including Ashish Chanchlani, Amit Bhadana, Round2Hell, Harsh Beniwal, Shruti Arjun Anand, Elvish Yadav, Prajakta Koli, and more.
They will showcase the tech videos from Trakin Tech, fashion and beauty videos from Sejal Kumar, Malvika Sitlani, and Jovita George.
As well as, it will also feature food videos from Kabita’s Kitchen, Cook with Nisha, and Gobble.
After some time, the Amazon miniTV plans are added to more new and exclusive videos in the coming months.
With miniTV, Amazon competes with YouTube, It’s also different from Prime Video which requires an Amazon Prime membership.
Amazon miniTV is completely free, and it can be accessed by anyone on the Android app.
