In major changes in rankings of top All India Radio streams globally (excluding India) in the past fortnight, AIR Tamil and AIR News 24*7 have made their way back in Top 10, while Rainbow Kannada Kaamanbilu and Asmita Mumbai are out.
AIR Chennai Rainbow and FM Rainbow Mumbai have slipped down to 8th and 10th spot respectively.
In the latest rankings of top countries in the world (excluding India) where All India Radio live-streams on NewsOnAir App are most popular, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Fiji and Canada have been the Top 5 for 12 weeks straight.
In ranking of countries (excluding India) for the Top AIR streams, Indian classical music channel of All India Radio, AIR Raagam, is quite popular in the European countries of Germany, Finland and Netherlands. Middle East countries of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar have a soft spot for AIR Kodaikanal.
More than 240 radio services of All India Radio are live-streamed on the NewsOnAir app, which is parent Prasar Bharati’s official app.
These All India Radio Streams on NewsOnAir app have a large number of listeners not just in India, but globally, in more than 85 countries and 8000 cities across the globe.
These rankings are based on fortnightly data for the period September 16-29, 2021.
