The first teaser of ‘So Long Valley’, featuring Akanksha Puri in a haunting new avatar, was unveiled today, promising a gripping crime drama drenched in suspense, secrets, and scenic darkness.
Set against the visually stunning yet eerie backdrop of Manali, the film marks a sharp turn into noir territory for the actress, known for her versatile performances across film and television.
Directed by Sarmad Khan, ‘So Long Valley’ revolves around a mysterious disappearance that rattles a quiet mountain town. As chilling truths begin to surface, what follows is a twisted journey through trauma, betrayal, and buried pasts. The teaser, clocking in at just over a minute, offers a glimpse of Puri’s character caught between law enforcement and personal demons her expressions taut with anguish, her silence loaded with secrets.
The atmospheric visuals mist-laden forests, flickering torches, and slow pans of deserted hill roads build a mood that feels simultaneously poetic and unnerving. Produced by Three Arrows Films, ‘So Long Valley’ is scheduled for release later this year, with the full trailer expected in July.
