Ajay Devgn has officially commenced production on the much-anticipated sequel to the comedy hit ‘Son of Sardaar’. The actor took to Instagram to share the exciting news, sending fans into a frenzy as the original film was a box office success.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ will be extensively shot in the United Kingdom before moving to locations in India. Devgn shared a video of himself visiting a gurudwara, marking the Muhurat of the movie. The monochrome video begins with Ajay covering his head with a handkerchief, followed by a priest announcing the start of the shoot.
Ajay also posted a video featuring his son Yug Devgan and his nephew Aaman Devgan holding the clapboard, marking the beginning of the production.
The video also showcases the film’s director, Vijay Kumar Arora, the female lead Mrunal Thakur, and actor Chunky Pandey participating in a vibrant Punjabi dance sequence.
The original ‘Son of Sardaar’ was released in 2012, and the sequel promises to bring more laughter and entertainment to audiences.
