Tushar Banerjee, till recently Vice President-Digital at ABP Network, has joined Bloomberg News in India, marking the next chapter in his 17-year journalism career.
Sharing the update in a LinkedIn post on Monday, Banerjee said he would be working closely with Bloomberg News’ editorial team in India, calling the move one of the biggest honours of his professional journey.
“For someone who has spent 17 years in journalism, there are few honours bigger than this,” Banerjee wrote.
Describing Bloomberg as “the gold standard of business and financial journalism worldwide”, he noted that the global newsroom comprises more than 2,700 journalists and analysts across around 120 countries.

“To now be a small part of that machine, and to help tell India’s growth story to the world through it, is genuinely special,” he added.
Banerjee also reflected warmly on his seven-year stint at ABP Network, saying it had “stretched me in the best possible ways” through work spanning eight language newsrooms, platform partnerships and digital initiatives.
“I will always be grateful for it,” he wrote, signing off simply with, “Onwards.”
