ABP News, along with research partner CVoter, has conducted the final opinion poll, which predicts BJP emerging victorious in Uttar Pradesh. The results for Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur shows no clear winners as BJP and INC seem to be in a neck-to-neck battle with each other.
Whereas, in Punjab AAP is expected to cross the majority mark while INC’s power struggles seem to have eroded their seat share.
As per ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll, Yogi Adityanath continues to be the preferred choice for Uttar Pradesh CM with 41.2% of votes, followed by SP with 35% of votes and BSP with 14.2% of votes.
AAP continues to remain in the poll position in Punjab with 39.8% of votes, followed by INC with 30% of votes and SAD with 20.2% of votes.
In Uttarakhand, the contest between BJP and INC is too close to call as BJP is likely to bag 42.6% of votes, while INC will likely win 40.6% of votes and AAP with 13% of votes.
In Goa, BJP’s grip on power seems to have loosened as it is predicted to win 30% of votes, while INC and AAP are likely to be in second and third place with 24% of votes, 23.6% of votes.
In Manipur, BJP is ahead of all others with 33.9% of votes while INC is second with 28.4% of votes.
Current projections are based on CVoter daily tracking poll conducted from January 11 to February 6 2022, among 18+ adults, including likely voters.
As for the methodology and survey details, the survey reached out to a total of approximately 136579+ across 5 states (UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa) and was conducted through CATI (Telephonic survey).
