As Maharashtra gears up for its most cherished festival, Ganesh Chaturthi, ABP Majha is bringing back its flagship festive programming, ‘Bappa Majha’. Known for capturing the essence of Ganeshotsav, this year’s edition comes with the theme ‘Bappa Ale, Bhed Nimale’ (As Bappa arrives, differences disappear), highlighting the festival’s power to unite communities in devotion and joy.
From August 27 to September 5, ABP Majha will present a rich line-up of cultural storytelling, exclusive shows, and live coverage:
- Morning & Evening Aarti (6.30 am & 6.30 pm): Live telecasts from iconic temples and pandals across Maharashtra.
- Ganesh Pujan at ABP Majha Office (Aug 27, 9.30 am): A special 30-minute feature on sthapana and Aarti at the channel’s Mumbai office.
- Kaladhipati (2.30 pm): Celebrity-led festive stories showcasing personal celebrations.
- Bappa Majha Bulletins (5.30 pm & repeat at 11.30 am): Daily updates, stories, and statewide highlights of Ganeshotsav.
- Maha Ganesh Mandal Contest (Sept 7–16): Recognition of the most spectacular pandals from Mumbai, Vidarbha, Konkan, Marathwada, and Paschim Maharashtra.
- Anant Chaturdashi Special (Sept 6 from 7 am onwards): Extensive coverage of visarjan processions, capturing emotional farewells to Ganpati Bappa.
For 10 days, ABP Majha promises to deliver not just the sights and sounds of Ganeshotsav, but its spirit—bridging tradition, culture, and devotion for audiences across the state.
‘Bappa Majha’ is co-presented by Gowardhan, Punit Balan Group, and Nirma Advance; powered by Hint, Royal Enfield, and Kayam Churna. Mahindra Tractor and Porter join as supporting partners, with ABP Live as the digital partner.
