In a significant leadership addition, Abhinav Sharma has joined the India Today Group as Vice President and National Sales Head. The seasoned media professional, who has nearly two decades of experience in media sales and business development, steps into the new role with the mandate to strengthen the Group’s sales strategy and market presence.
The appointment was confirmed through Sharma’s LinkedIn post, where he shared, “I’m delighted to share that I have started a new position as VP and National Sales Head at India Today Group. Grateful for the new chapter and excited for what the future holds.” His announcement was widely noted across the industry, reflecting both his reputation and the significance of the move.
Sharma brings with him a proven track record of driving revenue growth and forging high-value partnerships. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and National Sales Head at Republic World, where he was instrumental in expanding the network’s advertising footprint and consolidating its position in a competitive broadcast landscape.
His professional journey began at Adlabs Films in 2007, following which he built a diverse career across leading media organisations. With a strong background in sales leadership, strategy, and execution, Sharma is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing India Today Group’s reach and reinforcing its standing in the rapidly evolving Indian media ecosystem.
