Actor, comedian and filmmaker Vir Das has announced the cast of his upcoming psychological horror film ‘Baara Number‘. the film will feature several well-known actors, including Sheeba Chaddha, Arunoday Singh, Ahsaas Channa, and Atul Kulkarni.
According to a PTI report,’Baara Number’ is being described as a found-footage psychological horror film, a style of storytelling in which events are shown through recorded videos or footage discovered later. this format is often used to create a more realistic and suspenseful horror experience for viewers.
The project marks Vir Das’ second directorial venture. earlier this year, he made his directorial debut with the spy comedy ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’, which introduced him as a filmmaker alongside his work as an actor and comedian.
For ‘Baara Number’, Vir Das is once again joining hands with Kavi Shastri, who co-directed ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’. this time, Shastri will be working on the film as a creative producer, helping shape the creative vision of the project.
Although the makers have not yet shared details about the plot, the film is expected to combine psychological tension, mystery and horror elements. with a strong cast and an intriguing concept, ‘Baara Number’ is already generating curiosity among fans of the horror genre.
The announcement has raised expectations, especially as Vir Das continues to explore filmmaking after stepping behind the camera earlier this year.
