‘Athiradi’ to stream on SonyLIV on June 19

Malayalam blockbuster ‘Athiradi’, starring Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph, is all set to make its OTT debut on Sony LIV on June 19.

The film is directed by debutant filmmaker Arun Anirudhan, who is known for writing the screenplay of the popular superhero film Minnal Murali. set in an engineering college, ‘Athiradi’ combines comedy, drama and youthful energy reported by PTI.

The story revolves around Samkutty, played by Basil Joseph, a passionate student who dreams of bringing back his college’s famous cultural festival. the festival was banned years ago after a tragic stampede claimed several lives. determined to restore the event and revive the college’s spirit, Samkutty takes on the challenge despite facing several obstacles.

With its engaging campus backdrop, emotional moments and strong performances, ‘Athiradi’ became a hit among audiences during its theatrical run. fans who missed watching the film in theatres will now be able to stream it on Sony LIV from June 19.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
