NDTV has announced the appointment of Gaurav Mehrraa as Revenue Head, Brand Studio, NDTV Hindi & Regionals, as the media network looks to further strengthen its content-led brand solutions business across Hindi and regional markets.
According to an NDTV press release, Mehrraa brings more than two decades of experience spanning branded content, media sales, marketing strategy and revenue growth. In his new role, he will focus on driving brand partnerships and developing integrated content solutions across NDTV’s expanding Hindi and regional platforms.
Prior to joining NDTV, Mehrraa served as National Head and Vice President at TV9 Network, where he led content-driven growth initiatives across both broadcast and digital businesses. Over the course of his career, he has also held leadership positions at Network18 Group, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Reliance Broadcast Network, CNBC-TV18, Idea Cellular and Vodafone India.
An alumnus of DAV College Amritsar and Faculty of Management Studies, Mehrraa has built a reputation for creating and scaling branded content businesses through integrated campaigns that combine editorial storytelling, digital engagement, influencer collaborations and on-ground activations.
His portfolio includes several notable campaigns such as Castrol Super Mechanic Contest, Mahindra Unlimit Bharat, Sensodyne Oral Health Awareness, Samsung campaigns, Castrol Pragati Ki Paathshaala and Ultratech Baat Ghar Ki.
Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Kanwal said Mehrraa’s expertise in brand partnerships and content-driven revenue generation would support NDTV’s growth plans as the network continues to expand its presence across Hindi and regional audiences.
