Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar has been named the face of Indian mechanical watch brand ROTORIS ahead of the IPL 2026 playoffs, with the company calling him ‘A ROTORIS Man’ in a campaign celebrating resilience, patience, and long-term success. The collaboration comes during one of the biggest phases of Patidar’s cricketing journey, as RCB pushes forward in its title defence campaign.
According to a press release from ROTORIS, the campaign draws heavily from Patidar’s rise in Indian cricket — from going unsold at an IPL auction to eventually becoming RCB captain and leading the franchise after its long-awaited IPL title win. The brand has positioned the cricketer’s journey as a reflection of its own philosophy of craftsmanship, patience, and building success over time rather than chasing shortcuts.
Patidar’s story has become one of the most talked-about journeys in recent IPL history. After initially being released and later returning as a replacement player, the batter made headlines with a stunning unbeaten 112 off 54 balls in an IPL playoff match, becoming the first uncapped player in IPL history to score a century in the playoffs. Since then, he has steadily established himself as one of the key faces of the Bengaluru franchise.
This IPL season, Patidar has continued his strong form, reportedly scoring at a strike rate above 213 while smashing 21 sixes as RCB sits at the top of the IPL 2026 points table. ROTORIS said the partnership reflects its focus on individuals who achieve success through persistence and consistency rather than overnight fame.
Speaking about the collaboration, Rajat Patidar said he never believed in taking the shortest path and instead focused on doing things the right way, even during phases when very few people were watching. He added that the same philosophy resonated with ROTORIS and made the partnership feel authentic beyond just a campaign or cricket season.
ROTORIS founder Aakash Anand said the company was built for people who continue evolving despite setbacks and challenges. Referring to Patidar’s cricketing journey, Anand said the batter being released by the same franchise he would later captain and lead to a title perfectly represented the spirit of the brand.

Earlier this year, Alpine F1 Reserve Driver Kush Maini wore the brand’s Astonia Sports Chronograph during the Formula One season opener in Melbourne, marking the first appearance of an Indian watch brand on an F1 grid. The company also attended Watches & Wonders Geneva in April 2026, one of the world’s leading global watchmaking events.
ROTORIS is now preparing to launch its new Astonia and Manifesta collections later this summer, with access reportedly being offered through an invitation-based waitlist model. As part of the IPL campaign, Rajat Patidar will continue wearing ROTORIS watches both on and off the field throughout the playoffs season.
