NDTV has elevated Venkat Pochiraju to the position of National Sales Head – Brand Studio, strengthening the network’s focus on integrated brand partnerships and revenue-led content solutions across television and digital platforms.
Pochiraju, who joined NDTV in April 2024 as Regional Head – South (Special Projects), announced the development through a LinkedIn post. In his new role, he will oversee sales across NDTV’s existing and upcoming intellectual properties, branded content initiatives, media partnerships, and custom solutions spanning the network’s news and digital businesses.
The elevation comes as NDTV continues to expand its focus on brand-driven storytelling and integrated advertising opportunities for clients across platforms. Pochiraju is expected to play a key role in scaling the company’s Brand Studio vertical by driving deeper collaborations with advertisers and agencies.
With more than two decades of experience in the media and advertising industry, Pochiraju brings extensive expertise in advertising sales, IP monetisation, media planning, branded content, and strategic partnerships. Before joining NDTV, he was associated with Times Network as General Manager and Region Head – South.
Over the years, he has held leadership positions across several prominent media companies. Between 2018 and 2022, he worked with RED FM as Deputy General Manager and Cluster Sales Head – South. Prior to that, he served as Senior Manager – Sales & Region Head – South for Sony Mix and Sony ROX HD at Sony Pictures Networks India from 2014 to 2018.
His career portfolio also includes roles at 9X Media, GroupM, E-TV Network, BIG FM, Infomedia India Limited, Johnson & Johnson, and Symbiosys Technologies.
Industry observers believe the appointment aligns with NDTV’s broader efforts to strengthen its branded content and solutions business amid growing demand for integrated marketing offerings across news, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
