Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that ‘VisionQuest’ will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, bringing back Paul Bettany as Vision in the latest expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s streaming slate.
The announcement was made during Disney’s Upfront presentation in Los Angeles, where Bettany appeared alongside fellow Marvel stars Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston to tease the upcoming project and preview Marvel’s future lineup on Disney+.
According to PTI report, ‘VisionQuest’ will continue the story of Vision following the events of WandaVision. The series is expected to explore the android superhero’s emotional and psychological journey as he attempts to recover his memories and reconnect with his humanity after the dramatic events that unfolded in the earlier series.
The show also serves as the concluding chapter of Marvel’s WandaVision trilogy, which includes WandaVision and Agatha All Along. The interconnected projects have collectively expanded the supernatural and emotional storytelling side of the MCU, focusing heavily on characters linked to Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
Paul Bettany’s return as Vision has already generated strong interest among Marvel fans, especially after the character’s unresolved arc in WandaVision. The series is expected to delve deeper into the identity crisis of White Vision, the reconstructed version of the character introduced during the finale of the Emmy-winning Disney+ series.
Marvel Studios has been steadily using Disney+ series to deepen character-driven storytelling within the larger MCU framework, blending theatrical-scale narratives with long-form streaming content. VisionQuest is likely to play a significant role in shaping future Marvel storylines connected to both the multiverse and the evolving Avengers universe.
The announcement further strengthens Disney+’s upcoming Marvel content slate as the platform continues to rely on franchise-driven originals to maintain subscriber engagement globally.
