‘Pushpa Impossible’ is set to feature a special crossover episode with the cast of Gujarati film ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate’ ahead of the movie’s World Television Premiere on Sony MAX.
According to a press release, the film, which recently became the first Gujarati movie to cross the Rs.100 crore mark globally, will premiere on television on May 17 at 1pm. The film will be aired in both Hindi and Gujarati languages.
The special episodes of ‘Pushpa Impossible’ will see Pushpa, played by Karuna Pandey, going through an emotional and spiritual journey where she finds comfort and guidance from Krishna, portrayed by Shruhad Goswami, alongside Tulsi, played by Reeva Rachh.
The storyline unfolds during Mother’s Day celebrations as Pushpa, feeling lonely, spends a night at Krishna’s home. There she meets a young boy named Kisna, who affectionately calls her “maiya,” serves her traditional Kathiyawadi tea and connects with her through heartfelt conversations and flute music. By the next morning, Kisna mysteriously disappears, and during temple festivities, Pushpa realises that the boy was actually Lord Krishna in human form.
The collaboration brings together the emotional warmth and spiritual themes of both the television show and the film, creating a narrative focused on faith, family bonds and motherhood.
Speaking about the crossover, Karuna Pandey said Pushpa Impossible has always celebrated emotions, relationships and the beauty of ordinary life, making the collaboration with Laalo feel natural and meaningful. She added that the film has received tremendous appreciation from audiences and expressed confidence that viewers would enjoy seeing both worlds merge in a heartfelt and entertaining way.
Shruhad Goswami also described ‘Laalo’ as a deeply special project and said the overwhelming audience response to the film has made the journey memorable for the entire team. He noted that being part of Pushpa Impossible further strengthened the emotional connect because both stories share similar warmth, simplicity and cultural values.
The television premiere of ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate’ will air on Sony MAX on May 17, while the crossover episodes on Pushpa Impossible are expected to air next week on Sony SAB.
