KPMG in India and CleverTap have announced a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening customer engagement and retention capabilities for enterprises, as organisations increasingly look to personalise experiences while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
According to a ACN Newswire update, with both companies outlining plans to combine consulting expertise with AI-led engagement tools to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
The alliance brings together KPMG in India’s Connected Enterprise and advisory capabilities with CleverTap’s customer engagement and retention platform. The collaboration is expected to enable organisations to explore deeper personalisation, while aligning with business priorities such as security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The focus will be on sectors including banking and financial services (BFSI), retail, and consumer markets. By integrating CleverTap’s analytics and orchestration tools into KPMG-led transformation programmes, the partnership aims to help organisations better connect customer data with execution, and move towards lifecycle-based engagement strategies.
KPMG in India will contribute its consulting expertise across operating model design, governance, risk, and compliance, while CleverTap will bring its platform capabilities such as real-time analytics and AI-driven engagement. The combined approach is designed to help businesses strengthen customer retention efforts and improve overall customer lifetime value.
Commenting on the alliance, Ram Seshadri, Partner, Digital Cloud Solutions at KPMG in India, said the collaboration enhances the firm’s ability to help organisations activate insights responsibly and scale engagement in a sustainable manner. He noted that combining transformation-led consulting with analytics-driven platforms can support companies in building deeper customer relationships in a rapidly evolving digital and regulatory environment.
Anand Jain, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at CleverTap, said enterprises today need intelligence rather than just data to deliver personalised experiences. He added that the partnership aims to enable brands to create one-to-one customer journeys that can drive stronger engagement and long-term value.
The alliance also seeks to address key business challenges such as reducing churn and driving sustainable revenue growth, while ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
