The Advertising Club has announced the appointment of Shashanka Chaturvedi, Sumona Sen and Pallavi Chakravarti as Jury Chairs for the ABBY Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club for Creativity | The One Show. The three will lead the Video Craft, Broadcaster and Young Maverick Abby categories, respectively, as the industry prepares for one of its most prominent creative showcases.

Shashanka Chaturvedi, Co-Founder of Good Morning Films, will chair the Video Craft category. Known in the industry as Bob, he is a self-taught filmmaker with a strong body of work across advertising and storytelling. Over the years, he has won close to 150 awards, including two Gold Lions at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity—a first for an Indian director. His production house has also been recognised as Production Company of the Year in India for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.

Chaturvedi’s work spans leading brands such as Thums Up, Thar, Asus, Clinic Plus, Honda and Cadbury, among others. Beyond advertising, he has directed music videos, short films and documentaries, with his feature film ‘Do Patti’ emerging as a major success on Netflix India in 2024, even making it to the global Top 10 for non-English films.

Sumona Sen, Senior Vice President – Network Marketing Strategy and Growth at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has been appointed Jury Chair for the Broadcaster category. With over two decades of experience, Sen is widely regarded as a growth-focused marketing leader who has helped reposition marketing as a key driver of revenue and brand equity. Her work blends consumer insight with data-led strategy, while also integrating analytics, MarTech and AI to deliver measurable outcomes across markets.

Pallavi Chakravarti, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Fundamental, will chair the Young Maverick Abby category. A seasoned creative professional with more than 20 years in advertising, she has worked on global brands including Instagram, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Uber and Unilever. Since launching her independent agency in 2023, she has delivered impactful campaigns for brands such as WhatsApp, Airtel, Adidas and Urban Company.

Chakravarti’s work has been recognised at leading global platforms including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Spikes Asia and Effies, among others. She has also served on multiple international juries and continues to mentor emerging talent within the industry.

The ABBY Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club | The One Show is scheduled to be held during Goafest 2026 from May 20 to 22 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon. The appointments reflect a mix of creative excellence, strategic leadership and industry experience, setting the stage for a competitive and high-calibre awards showcase.
