The latest episode of ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ delivered an unexpectedly heartfelt moment when contestant Prachi Gautam brought the stage to life with poetry, nostalgia, and admiration for host Rajeev Khandelwal.
According to an SET press release, the moment unfolded when Prachi interrupted Rajeev mid-introduction, asking for a chance to introduce herself in her own unique style. What followed was a “shayarana andaz” that instantly struck a chord. She recited a self-written shayari dedicated to the actor, saying, “Iss chand ko kajal ke daag se sanvarlu… noor kabhi kam na ho aur uchaiyon ko ye yun hi chhoota rahe,” drawing loud applause and smiles from the audience.
Taking the gesture a step further, Prachi walked up to Rajeev and applied a “kajal ka teeka” behind his ear, calling it a protective sign against negativity. Expressing her long-standing admiration, she shared that she has been his fan since Left Right Left and still finds his presence as impactful and charming. The candid moment left Rajeev visibly touched, as he responded with a shy smile, admitting, “Mere paas is samay shabd nahi hai… itne saare shabd leke aaya tha main apne saath.”
The exchange soon turned nostalgic when Prachi recalled one of his iconic scenes from Left Right Left and requested him to recreate his signature smile. Playing along, Rajeev responded with a mix of humour and reflection, saying, “Woh baat aap kar rahi hain jo muddaton pehle maine di thi… ab toh smile bhi badal gayi… par phir bhi main aapko woh smile zaroor deta hoon.” He then recreated the moment, drawing loud cheers from the audience.
The interaction blended warmth, spontaneity, and a touch of nostalgia, standing out as one of the most memorable highlights of the episode. It also reflected the show’s larger intent of celebrating everyday individuals and their stories in a heartfelt and engaging manner.
‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ is set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV from April 28 at 9 pm.
